Oklahoma’s Trevor Knight carted off in fourth quarter of blowout loss to Baylor (GIF)
Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight was carted from the field in the fourth quarter against Baylor on Saturday after he was tackled awkwardly by three Baylor players.
As Knight was being sacked, his head got pinched between two defenders as he was converged upon.
After the hit, Knight moved his hips from side to side and relaxed and extended the fingers in his right hand. He was attended to by Oklahoma trainers and placed on a backboard and taken off the field.
While being taken off, Knight raised his right hand to the crowd. A spokesperson said after the game that Knight left the stadium under his own power.
He was replaced by Cody Thomas in the blowout loss. Baylor won the game 48-14. Knight finished the game 12-of-27 passing for 146 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He also had 13 carries for 46 yards.
