Miguel Angel Jimenez took a 13 on his final hole at BMW Masters
Miguel Angel Jimenez is known as “The Mechanic,” but his game was broken on the final hole of the BMW Masters.
Playing the par-4 ninth to close out a lackluster tournament, Jimenez put four balls in the water at Lake Malaren Golf Club to take a 9-over 13 on the final hole. That capped off a round of 16-over 88 on Sunday, bringing him to 19 over par for the tournament.
Believe it or not, that didn’t leave Jimenez in last place. China’s Tianyi Wu ended the event 32 over par, only breaking 80 once in four rounds.
