Texas A&M suspends QB Hill for two games
Texas A&M is making a change at quarterback this week by starting Kyle Allen over Kenny Hill, and we now know that no matter what happens against Louisiana-Monroe, Allen will start next week as well.
That’s because the school announced Saturday that Hill has been suspended for two games due to “a violation of team rules and athletic department policies.”
Which rule Hill actually violated, TAMU would not say, nor did it indicate whether this suspension is what led to Allen being named the starter for Saturday’s home contest.
What we do know is that after getting off to a fantastic start to the season and being named as a possible Heisman Trophy candidate, Hill has tapered off a bit in recent weeks.
In the Aggies’ last three games — all losses — Hill has thrown six touchdowns and six interceptions. He’d thrown 17 touchdowns and only two picks through the first five games of the season.
