Anderson upsets Wawrinka at Paris Masters (Yahoo Sports)
Third-seeded Stan Wawrinka failed to serve out the match before losing to Kevin Anderson in a match lasting nearly three hours as the hard-hitting South-African rallied to advance to the quarterfinals of the Paris Masters for the first time. Anderson completed a 6-7 (2), 7-5, 7-6 (3) victory after hitting 18 aces and breaking the Australian Open champion twice. Wawrinka, who was two points from the match when leading 5-4, 30-0 in the decider, lost his third straight meeting against Anderson following losses at Indian Wells and Toronto earlier this season. Open, Wawrinka has won only two matches and will travel to London for the ATP finals from Nov. 9-16 with his form in question.
