Sixers confuse Bo Outlaw with Travis Outlaw on team roster page
We’ve all made the mistake of swapping names of friends of friends, or confusing which Plumlee brother plays in Brooklyn (Mason) and which plays in Phoenix (Miles).
On Monday, the Sixers website had Bo Outlaw listed on their roster page. In reality, they had just traded with New York for Travis Outlaw.
Best day ever. The 76ers on their website right now have Bo Outlaw, not Travis Outlaw, on their roster. This is real: pic.twitter.com/MPEDonPR3T

There are many factors to consider here. First, the NBA got a new platform for their team sites over the summer, which no doubt everyone is getting used to. Then again, that makes you wonder why the new system would include the ability to add Bo Outlaw when he hasn’t been in the league for six years.
Finally, the Sixers are reportedly expected to waive Travis Outlaw, so why even bother putting him on Philadelphia’s website in the first place?
In any case, if you want a reminder of who is who:
Travis Outlaw: Inexplicably paid way too much money by Brooklyn in 2010, takes a lot of long jumpers.
Bo Outlaw: No longer in the NBA, can best be identified as “Not Travis Outlaw”.
Glad we got that sorted.
