AP poll: Ole Miss dips to No. 7
It’s an odd Sunday for the polls, as on Tuesday the College Football Playoff selection committee will release its first rankings of the season, effectively rendering the AP and coaches polls completely useless. But Tuesday is still a couple of days away, and you’ll need something to fulfill your desire to feel justified or disrespected until then.
Much like the coaches poll, where Ole Miss dropped to No. 9 following a loss to LSU, the Rebels fell in the AP poll as well, but only down to No. 7. Alabama, Auburn, Oregon and Notre Dame all take advantage of Ole Miss’ loss, each moving up a spot from last week.
As for the team that beat Ole Miss, LSU made the biggest jump up to No. 16 from No. 24 last week.
Here’s the poll in its entirety.
