Matt Barnes’ backboard blunder leads to wide open Stephen Curry 3-pointer
As a little tike, you learn to never inbound the ball under the backboard because it can impede your pass. But, as players become more advanced, they sometimes take a step away from the fundamentals.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes provided the perfect example for this. Barnes stepped out to inbound the ball and attempted to throw a full-court pass. Instead, he caught the bottom of the backboard and sent the ball right into Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry’s hand at the 3-point line.
