Colorado School of Mines WR caught the ball behind his defender’s back (Video)
A defender between himself and the ball was no big deal for Colorado School of Mines WR Diamond Gillis.
During Thursday’s game against Fort Lewis College, Gillis caught an underthrown pass with his defender between him and the ball. It was an incredible catch.
Colorado School of Mines, coached by Bob Stitt, a spread offense savant, beat Fort Lewis College – coached by former Michigan State and Arkansas coach John L. Smith – 56-14 in the Division II matchup. CSM went 4-5 on fourth-down conversions and had a 35-14 halftime lead before scoring 21 more points after the break.
