Michael Beasley decides to leave Memphis for China – SportingNews.com
Michael Beasley, a former No. 2 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, has officially left the NBA for a contract offer in China, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
The Shanghai Sharks signed Beasley to a one-year contract to play in the Chinese Basketball Association, his agent, Jared Karnes, told Yahoo! Sports.

Beasley has been in the league for six years and last played for the Miami Heat. He entered the offseason with optimism, but found few suitors on the open market. Beasley finally decided to join the Memphis Grizzlies in training camp, though the lure of a guaranteed contract pulled him elsewhere.
