Pau Gasol is having a fiesta on ‘Sesame Street’ (Video)
When I was a toddler, I was convinced that Sesame Street actually existed in my hometown of Chicago. Because the diversity of the cast, the urban setting, and that one clip of an open fire hydrant that they routinely showed all seemed like something that could just happen just a few blocks away. For some reason, I also imagined that the puppets were real and that they were also just a few blocks away.
Well, Pau Gasol is real, he is a wonderful person, he works in Chicago now, and he recently visited Sesame Street. To have a fiesta.
And, because it is 2014 and not 1984, we have a Vine as proof:
And also a longer video as proof:
At this point, I can no longer be allowed to objectively cover Pau Gasol as an NBA writer.
