Virginia will wear throwback uniforms against Kent State (Photos)

Virginia will look to bounce back from its loss to BYU at home against Kent State Saturday afternoon. In doing so, the Cavaliers will wear 1967-74 era throwback uniforms.

It’s a sharp look that the team previously wore in 2012 in a home loss against Louisiana Tech. The Cavs, 2-2, will look to come out on the winning end this time around against an 0-3 Kent State squad.

Virginia is a much-improved squad this season compared to last year’s 2-10 record. The team’s non-conference slate was one of the toughest in the country. The Cavs lost by eight to BYU and UCLA – both ranked squads – but they managed to upset No. 21 Louisville 23-21 at home.
