O-M-Jeter: Watch Derek Jeter’s young nephew tip his cap after walk-off hit

Derek Jeter’s walk-off single in his final game at Yankee Stadium on Thursday was the most thrilling baseball moment of the night. But Jeter’s young nephew Jalen gave us the cutest moment.

After Uncle Derek hit his already-famous walk-off, TV cameras caught Jalen watching the commotion on the field. He then put his hand to his RE2PECT cap and tipped it. Just like Uncle Derek taught him.

Those feelings in your heart, Derek Jeter haters, they’re OK. Embrace them. You’re allowed to like this.

We’ve seen Jalen do this before too. When Jetermania hit Detroit, Derek brought Jalen onto the field with his family (they’re from Michigan) and Jalen tipped his Yankees cap then.
